Absolutely enamored with this story! had such a fun time playing it, and loved the pronouns and subtle customization we get with Zed (I highly appreciate not being stuck with a certain guardian choice.) Can't wait for the next update, I will definitely be keeping up with this project and your future ones.
Ahh I'm glad you like it !! And yeah I didn't want people to get stuck with a guardian they didn't like because even absolutely low end of the scale it'd just be kind of lame. Customising your guardian makes you care about them at least a little (hopefully !!)
I first played through this quite a while ago and it's been on my mind ever since, I am ENAMORED. I've never experienced an IF that's made me fall in love so quickly, especially with the main character. The way you've built up this mystery around them is just electrifying and i so badly crave more. I also love the little details you put into it like making the background noise diegetic, and the specific detail of saying "these people aren't like you" instead of "you aren't like these people" is GENIUS. It reveals so much about the life of the MC and how they view the world with so little. okay bye ty xoxo have a great day

I dont mean to come off rude but, is this game staying in demo? The last update was in 2022. I notice that the creator is active in the comments. Side note this game has been out for nearly 4 years i believe. If this is staying in demo, why? If there is a full version i need to pay for, that is fine with me. I'm just confused. Thank you! P.S. This game is not part of my regular rotation of updates: it's partially a testing ground for new features on a smaller scale than my other games. It's up for updates after I'm finished with the update on a different title. If it's listed as a WIP and I'm active in the comments, safe to say it hasn't been abandoned 😅 absence of one or the other maybe, but both just meabs I got other irons in the fire.

I think I literally looked up the whole process to make sure it was setting-feasible and besides the convenience of a candy thermometre (which, they live in a mall so 50/50 if they have one) it totally was !!
I’ve made candy like that before, but you got me back into it, I swear making candy yourself tastes so good! If you have free time, you should try. If you want, I can give you some recipes?
Oop- it is really easy to accidentally mess up, but the final product can be so delicious! Also, if you aren’t allergic, Peanut brittle with chocolate is really good and pretty easy to make!

I thought it'd be fun to let the MC have the cool interesting past (to a degree: I don't think Zed would consider themself very special 😂), give the LIs and their problems a little perspective. And I have my own opa so that's the option I always pick to run tests 💚🥰 I just hope the other titles are as accurate, it's hard to look stuff like that up when you don't speak the language 😂😅

It's fine on its own but occasionally it's fun to have secrets of your own !! And there probably won't be an update SOON, but don't worry, this project isn't abandoned or anything !! I read this so many times prior and forgot about it only to realize your the same writer as bad ritual which im also obsessed with btw. I loved this first tho. Hope it gets updated bt god i knw working on more than one project must be so much so not gonna hold out too much hope. Maybe in the future. I honestly jst loved this MC so much

Nope! Atm I work shifts to get by so I don't do hard due dates for my own sake. Hybrid only receives occasional updates though, while I focus on my other two games. I'm doing a lot 😅

10/10 just for mc not knowing what a dog is, joking aside i am enamored with the idea of playing someone experiencing things we don't think much on for the first time. Also just assuming everyone is just like them. All of your stories have been a delight to read honestly
This was awesome, I love the writing style and can't wait for the final product. Normally if many characters get introduced in a short time I, at times, have trouble remembering who's who. But somehow these characters just really stand apart from each other in a great way (or again, it might have been the writing style?), had no trouble knowing who's who at all.
Ah, you reminded me that I haven't put a save build feature in Hybrid yet 😅 usually to get around how hostile the Twine language I use is to long term saves (since people clear their cookies fairly often) I put in a feature that lets you start from whatever chapter in the game you want, and set all relevant characteristics manually. I'll need to add that!
Until then, like necrosian said, save files DO exist in the browser. The next version of the game will let you choose where to start, though, so I wouldn't worry too much about losing that content!

Just started working in Twine/Harlowe and it seems relatively straightforward, although I'm having a hard time managing when the clip stops...
