Such a fun read! I love the bickering between irritable MC and Siruud - he's such an interesting and charming character. Also, the way MC's stats and achievements are presented is so creative; I kept checking after certain events to see how it would update. Looking forward to the next update!

There is a workaround for this problem, it worked for me at least. Just clear cookies and switch off all Auto-fills. I have no idea how Auto-fill affects the saves, and the author is pretty positive that it shouldn't, but it does somehow. I have a clean browser on my laptop for the purpose to play this game only :D Just finished reading through the new version, "The magic bug" never happened. Also in my experience it didn't happen in Safari browser on iPhone with default settings.
I really love the writing and story of this IF, it's one of my favorites, but the UI is just really...not great. That next button is terrifyingly close to that restart button. A restart button that has no confirmation and for some reason deletes all saves as well, and since there's no way to even export saves, it's like constantly playing fat finger Russian roulette. It's not going to stop me from reading, but I really do wish it was one of the standard IF templates.
As the poster above me mentioned, it's just a matter of screen size. I have it set to adjust depending on the size of the screen but if it's a slightly larger or small phone than average, or a tablet or something like that then I unfortunately have little control over how it displays. I can try to make some micro adjustments later tonight but without specifics there's only so much I can do.
I don't use the programming language most common among Twine games. There's no save export and the layout isn't standard because this is all custom programmed by me. I started using Twine back in 2017 and taught myself to use it so it is what it is. I do not use templates, standard or otherwise.
Ehem, jokes aside this is pretty good. Though being fully honest I would not have made the promise with T, kinda a shame it's necessary for the story because it's just not something I would have ever done ever. Part from that, I love being able to do a ligma joke, truly peak gameplay. Great game.
Oh I'm well aware, I have chosen to both not want to promise and not do the pact, sadly the character promise anyways since it, you know, matters to the story. And you do the pact wether you want to or not, appreciate the help though.
This was so much fun!! I love the Siruud route and I honestly like how the magic and hexes and stuff works in this universe. I really like how the relationships develop and GOD some of the dialogue choices were so funny. Really hope we get more updates!! Super intriguing story

It's not finished !! I just juggle games to make sure I don't burn out 😂 this one JUST got it's update so it won't shuffle back to the front of the line until the other ones get theirs, but it's definitely still in development. Woah, played it again, still awesome! Anyway, minor question. Is the Eden introduction scene cut? The one with the electrocution(???I think? my memory is unreliable) and spilled drinks?

Oh no you're good, I love an easy solution: unfortunately, sometimes old saves don't move forward !! Luckily that's why I made the build a save feature, so you're at least able to jump up to where you were !!

There's an option to not want to do the pact! Unfortunately that doesn't matter to T, who does want you to do the pact.
